Mat will start easy and slowly to ensure a smooth and gentle start to fitness. Help you select realistic goals with a realistic timeline. An important goal is to make fitness something to look forward to, and staying injury free during the process.

Returning to exercise. Returning to sports or general fitness
Its easy to take some time off and realize our fitness isn't what it once was. Mat can help you get back your fitness loses with a well times plan, regular activity and motivating push to get you back to your younger competitive self.

Learn-to-Run
Mat is well trained teaching clients how to start running. Mat ran a very popular Learn-to-Run program in Waterdown from 2006-2014. Mat will assess your current state of fitness to determine a good starting distance/time to begin the running process. Focusing also on strength and flexibility. Each week the distance or time will increase. Setting a future goal will be part of the plan.

Learn-to-Swim
Mat has helped 100's if not a thousand people of all ages how to swim over the last quarter-century. This could be in small group sessions, or one-on-one with Mat.

Fitness/conditioning training for all sports
It doesn't matter your sport. Mat can help you get fitter and stronger via resistance, plyometrics, calisthenics or isometrics. My coaching sessions will focus on the "nontechnical" side of their sport, meaning you will still need your sports coach for the technical and strategic aspects of your sport.

General Strength and Conditioning
No athletic goals of any sort? No problem. If you are looking for general fitness with other types of goals like weight loss, muscular growth, trimming down, increasing energy and feeling better. Mat can help with this.

New to Triathlon
If you are considering trying your first triathlon and not ready to join a team, Mat can help. Mat has helped 500+ new triathletes join the sport in the last 25 years. If your goals are a Try-a-Try, Sprint, Olympic, 70.3 or Ironman, Mat can help get you there.

Interested in learning your subconscious motivations, fears, strengths and weaknesses at a mental level? Mat can help you figure them out.
